OUR STORY
Our journey started more than 20 years ago when our founder, Hugo van Veen, developed the first iteration of the Axona optimizer.
As a quants trader himself, he was looking for a tool to assist his team optimize client portfolios. After months of testing, he made the decision to develop rather than buy.
Core to the success of the product was the proprietary optimization algorithm and methodology that he developed over 5 years. Tested by clients and peer-reviewed, this methodology has been shown to deliver better, more robust portfolios that are less sensitive to estimation errors.
This proprietary methodology underpins our latest Axona platform, combined with all the shiny bells, whistles, and kick-ass analytics that you would expect from a modern Web application.
